Depart from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 AM and journey into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and stop for photos of the Berber villages nestled into the rugged landscape.
Descending into the arid south, arrive at the legendary Aït Ben Haddou, a striking UNESCO-listed ksar (fortified village) that has been the backdrop for Hollywood blockbusters like Gladiator, The Mummy, and Sahara. After exploring its labyrinth of earthen dwellings, enjoy lunch in the village before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Here, visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, once the stronghold of the Glaoui dynasty.
Next, travel through the Skoura palm grove, home to over 700,000 palm trees and scattered kasbahs, before reaching the fragrant Rose Valley, where damask roses are cultivated for rosewater and essential oils. If visiting in May, you may witness the lively Rose Festival, a cherished local celebration.
End the day in the breathtaking Dades Valley, known for its towering rock formations and lush oasis landscapes.

After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM along the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs, passing through the Dades Valley with its striking red rock formations and Berber villages.
Continue to Tineghir, a picturesque town known for its lush palm groves and historic Jewish quarter. From here, enter the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where sheer limestone cliffs tower 300 metres high.
